On May 28, 2020, violinist Monica Davis gives a digital premiere to my new piece for solo violin, Ribbon. Meeting Monica has been a bright spot in the midst of this solitary quarantine life.

The introduction and opportunity came through the creative thinking and swift action of composer Gabriela Lena Frank, who paired past composer fellows from her Creative Academy of Music like myself with musicians who lost work due to the pandemic. The result is a weekly concert of brand new music called #GLFCAMGigThruCOVID.
